Can't tell if your being serious.

- Multiplayer means being present or playing with other players, does not mean in a group or forced grouping
- The fact you are in the same place as another player makes it multiplayer

there is a different between multi player games and multiplayer games, lost in the many acronyms floating around.
multi player game: game with many people playing the game in an shared overworld without any forced relation to each other. Or for easy to say a game with many players.
multiplayer game: game with many people playing together or against each other in groups or teams for an defined goal. Or for easy to say a team game.

FFXIV has a multi player part, like the overwolrd and many of that stuff, and a multiplayer part, like Dungeons, PvP, Raids, Trials.
I can fully understand that people hate it if they enjoy the first and are being forced into the later to progress the first.
