Depends on the player. There's plenty of ways to play, and one isn't less valid than the other (unless you're like, breaking rules or something).

I was more saying Ugh because while I agree with 100% of what you said you missed the sarcasm in my response and don't know why you responded to me versus the person who was stating the core of this game is party content.

I have to disagree. I do like really ESO, and the community is nice, but I feel as if I get ignored more there since most of the content is soloable. To each their own I suppose. Overall I greatly enjoy the experience of ESO and FFXIV pretty much equally.

Liked Eso but i did feel alone as well and i was late into the game so to say for joining in on that game
Tera Online since it is coming to console i am anxious for, i really enjoyed the technical test before xmas

I do agree with the op. I played another mmo for 5 years and raided hardcore with NA 1st/NA 2nd guilds but I've always felt that casuals and non raiders (pvp only players) should be able to progress, and in this case I feel the same for players who don't want to run dungeons. I don't feel like if I have to do things a certain way, then everyone else has to do things the same way. I don't see any issues with making msq completely doable solo while making dungeons more optional/sidequest. I love to raid and I love dungeons so even if the dungeons aren't woven into MSQ I will still run them constantly. It's an mmo GAME let people play how they want.

edit: I was just talking to a friend who was complaining about the bad players in dungeons- tanks that have aggro issues, dps players that don't know their rotations can't avoid easy mechanics, etc, so I'm thinking if people are complaining about these types of players, why would we force someone who is obviously uncomfortable to que dungeons with us? It doesn't affect you or me negatively if they don't que dungeons and if they are happy playing other parts of the game such as crafting, etc.

As soon as they make all content soloable is the day this game dies... it would be far more efficient to run content for loots solo than having to compete for it... and if anything the meta has taught us people will go for fast and easy first... at which point why bother doing content?
