Corrupted Aether and Allagan Technology.

I'm just curious why in every place with Allagan Technology there is some kind of Corrupt Aether near it.

Even in the new Dungeon we will see Allagan Technology in the place and a large amount of Corrupt Aether as well.

It seems with every powerful creature we face it all goes back to the Allagans.

So it was that a lighthouse was constructed at the end of the Sixth Astral Era. For a time this structure would serve seafarers well, ensuring safe passage through the Navigator's waters. Fueled by an aether generator designed by Naldiq & Vymelli's, Pharos Sirius was the guiding light of Limsa.

As for why most of the corrupted crystals have Allagan technology nearby; Dalamud was Allagan technology, debris from Dalamud that fell during Brohamuts attack messed with the aether.

Even if it is not made by Allagans, the generator holds the similar aspect of being powered by Aether like the Allagan technology. Everything that has been powered by large amount of Aether seems to generate Corrupt Aether around in some way.

As Sotek said, the corrupted aether isn't caused by allagan technology or any other technology for that matter, at least not directly. As far as I remember from 1.0, Dalamud was sucking aether from Eorzea and when it finally released Bahamut, it was scattered throughout the land. All those chucks of corrupted aether are parts of Dalamud. I imagine that some of it also fell off of Bahamut as he was wreaking havoc on Eorzea.
