    Crafting HQ warrior AF gear (and relic weapon)

    So, I'm working towards making the Fighter's Armor set for a cosplay competition by Saturday. Here are some WIPs while I put together the armor ^^

    Concept art!


    My new best friend - good for prop and armor crafting!


    Belt buckle.


    Leather "scales" on the skirt.


    Retooling my old Assassin's Creed bracers for the Fighter's Gloves.


    And the shoulder pads.


    I will be posting some of the cloth parts as soon as I finish sewing them, so please stay tuned!

    Did you hear about the new study on dragons published by Ishgardian scholars? It was quite thorough, but peer reviews said it was Biast.

    About this album: We ended up having to cut down on the details for some of the pieces due to the lack of time.
    I ran into a problem with the Bravura due to the expanding foam curling inwards, so I reinforced it with contact cement, wooden boards and atacks before filling the other side with the foam. After doing that, I covered it with masking tape and paper strips before spray painting it with acrylic epoxy.


    Skirt complete!

    Bravura fixed!

    Packed and ready for spray painting!

    I hope you guys enjoyed this photo set.
    I'm looking to improve on the armor pieces, making them thicker and bulkier so I don't look so top-heavy (especially on the waist armor), and adding SPIKES.
    As for the weapon, I'm not going to use expanding foam anymore next time.
