FFXIII-2 E3-Trailer!

Someone just posted this longer Version of the FFXIII-2 Trailer and it looks really epic, what really caught my eye was the cinematic Battle for when you do special moves. Also it seems to look like this has open world from the gameplay footage (but will see on that one). And it seems the music in the background when they are battle seems to be the battle theme of the game! (which I like imho, better than the original.)

All in all it was a great Trailer and I can't wait hear more about this game for days to come.

Is it just me or does XIII-2 look way too familiar? I think the leap from FFX to FFX-2 was much bigger in a sense considering the change in battle system which was pretty cool. I enjoyed FFXIII but I was expecting something different for XIII-2.

I'm definitely looking forward to Type-0 more though, I was also hoping for some Versus XIII :S.

All that doesn't matter because the resistance are actually having a role in the game!

Considering Lightning was in the trailer and it seems you play as her too, I would assume they just think she's dead but that's just my guess.

I caught that.. I am like.. whaaaaaaa! Lightening is dead?!

All this is making me want to play this game now... I wanna know what happened to Lightening!

Looks great. The formula for 13 worked for my enjoyment and it looks like it's just an honest second half of the story. Admittedly I was really disappointed with 13's ending. 60 hours of gameplay for what seemed like a 5 minute ending really left a bitter aftertaste as there was so much more from these characters I wanted to see and learn about. But I didn't know there was 13-2 coming out, and it all makes sense

X-2 was pretty much the same, it had a new battle system that was about the biggest leap.
