Thread: How fast will 2.1's content be completed?

Hey, guys. With the way the game is now (a good number of people have 1 job in full i90 or close) how fast do you guys think 2.1's content will be completed? I'm guessing by Saturday strong, dedicated FC's will have beat the EM Primals, CT, and Ultima HM lol. I haven't joined an FC but I haven't found the need to either. Most of this game can be PUG'd so I'm pretty confident it will only take me a little longer than a solid group of people to beat this content. It's a shame this patch is actually going backwards but as a supporter of Square-Enix and Final Fantasy, I will continue to sub.

Also, SE should really put Binding Coils of Bahamut in the DF... the mechanics are actually easier than Titan HM. Just slap an ilvl requirement for the HP check and it can be DF'd.

Mark my words, in 1 weeks time after launch these forums will be once again pitchforks and torches
by those who will be on Tuesday at 12:01AM and play for 6 days straight with minimal sleep.

Then it will morph into "QQ WHERE IS 2.2?!"

I'm definitely planning on trying everything atleast once for any achievements that may be involved. I'm not sure about the treasure hunts... the rewards need to be worthwhile. While I do believe there are things that need to be fun to kill time, gear progression is kind of the purpose of MMOs.

Since there will be no new coil content, one day.

I highly doubt that someone has all classes in full i90 so most people would still do CT to fill in the gaps for their alts while waiting for their i90 to drop.
As for completion, I would give it a week or two before anyone says that they've beaten Extreme primals, CT, HM dungeons and the new dungeon as well. But I dont think people will stop playing just because theyve cleared it.
PvP could be fun for all we know and thats usually the selling point of every other MMO. We will have to see next week!

This is an update consisting of things that should have already been there at launch. There are a bunch of groups in the game with gear more than adequate enough to take on all of the content 2.1 will offer. I'm sure just playing for 2-3 hours a day for those people will guarantee they get everything done in a week or two. Some people in this thread are acting like we're getting a plethora amount of content, lol.
