    Patch notes: Added effects now hitting through Stoneskin!

    "Players will now receive the additional effects of other players' actions even if damage is completely nullified by statuses such as Stoneskin and Adloquium."

    from here

    It's worded "Players"... but chances of this applying to attacks from NPC mobs?

    (If so, byebye solotanking Coil and avoiding Demon Wall repels!)

    And knowing how they'll implement it, I bet it'll apply to Hallowed Ground too.

    Aww well, at least this means people will end up having to bring a second tank for turns 1 and 2 again. Although the ability to save a nearly-dead PUG run on Turn #2 by Hallowed'ing at just the right time to shed your debuff stacks was fun whilst it lasted!

    It means that if a player/mob gets hit by an "added affect" ability, they'll always get the added effect.
    This includes stuff like Repel, Damage Resistance Debuffs and as Kitru points out, Wrath.

    CURRENTLY, if a target doesn't receive damage, they don't get the added effect. This lets parties complete parts of Coil with only one Tank, avoiding the Damage resistance debuff stacks via Stoneskin/Adloqium spam.

    Combine this with the Virus-Stacking nerf, changes to Medica II and cross-class damage buffs... coil parties will get shaken up quite a bit!

    Well I guess that when a mechanic is broken, its fairly normal. But yeah the Virus change gonna be interesting. Not a big big deal for turn 4 anyway, on 2 dreads just apply it on another one ... and pump up these eye for an eye

    As a WAR tank, I am *totally* psyched about this change. Tanking t4 as a WAR was *horrible* because attacking the soldiers/knights (whichever ones have the physical damage absorb; I can never remember) didn't provide you with Wrath stacks or Maim.
