I don't understand the intent of posts like this? General curiosity? Trying to prove a point it'll be blown through in under a week? What?
It'll take as long as you want it to take.

I'm one of the serious hardcore raiders, and I'm beein realistic. Like everyone got full Allagan set on their main. You re talkin about maybe like what, 3 raids in 5 different guilds, TOTAL, for that kind of gear distribution ?
4 to 6 hours is seriously unrealistic. AoE damage take a big hit in that patch for everyone except Summoners and Dragoons, the requirements are always a minimal thing. If all 3 primals are currently destroyed within 6 hours, given that it wasn't the case with the 3 first HM primals, I'll rest my case then (talkin about legacy players beein in full crafted gear / full dl almost at launch)

In before "Stop buying EM Primal wins, do it the hard way".
Which will happen.
A week max.

Honestly? I am betting all content will have been beat within hours of release. Seeing as the hardest content they are releasing is Ifrit extreme, I don't see this content being overly difficult in full i90.
The point is for general discussion, hence why it's in the general discussion section of the forums.and I do agree with you, content takes as long as you want it to, but there comes a point where you realize you're holding on to nothing.
While all that is true, i do believe there is some correlation with gear progression and skill. This is what i meant. You do occasionally run into the player that is geared great but sucks chindong.

I don\\'t really care. These hardcore players who cry about lockouts are the first ones to unsub always. No need to make them happy. They never will be.
The people who join the game and enjoy it, and log in every day or at least several times a week for the long term are more important. Having multiple dungeons available to attempt when you first hit 50 to introduce a "vast" endgame is important. Having crystal tower offering ILvl 80 gear to prepare for coil is important. Offering alternatives to the grind such as side story, housing, and PvP is important. More ultra hard boss battles and more alternative ways to receive goo gear is all important.
Removing lockouts and devoting all resources to i90+ for a fraction of people who constantly threaten unsub is not important.
Raid content is not the content I'm looking forward to in 2.1. In reality, the stuff I'm looking forward to will last longer than any single raid could possibly last as well.
