As a filthy casual, I'm going to take a bath in all the content I'll have to play with next week.
Then I'll cry because I'm 29 and have to go to work.

@permbanned I'm also excited for the EM Primals. I believe this will be the only content worth spamming BUT I'm curious how the loot will be distributed in the content. I feel it'll be EM's drop iLvl80 accessories and CT will drop iLvl80 armors.
This is exactly what I think too, despite people thinking they'll be ilv90 accessories. It wouldn't make sense if we're able to farm ilv90 accessories non-stop, but for ilv80 I can see it happening. And I'm pretty sure it'll be a chest with one accessory in it just like HM primal weapons.
EM Primals and Ultima will be downed within a week or two by basically all groups on T5 or later. The groups that use other peoples strats will take much longer since they have to do it on their own or wait until someone figures it out. For the rest of us it will just be figuring out mechanics and then winning since we overgear them already.
CT is setup to last a very long time.
The only real setbacks are going to be bugs, lag and crashes. If the primals don't have any nasty bugs or lag and the servers can handle the loads then all will be good.
Isn't CT about 100 floors total with more floors being unlocked per patch?EM Primals and Ultima will be downed within a week or two by basically all groups on T5 or later. ill be done with all the content in about 5 minutes... Goblin players are hardcore like that.
All in all though, I guess it depends on how fast you want it to last, and if doing something once is considered "done" for you... I can do something about 100 times before I think its getting boring, so for me I'm still really enjoying the content of 2.0
I'd wager 3 days, not including the PvP.
To be fair, 2.1 really ain't all that much.

I'll give a moderate guess of no more than a week to complete all the new content by the hardcore crowd. After that it's on them to decide whether it's worth continuing to do or if they'll just keep doing Coil. I imagine people will continue to do the Primals since they award a relic+1 equivalent weapon every week and they may continue to do CT for alt gear.

One day CT and HM dungeons will be cleared. CT will be a joke with 4 bosses and being DFable with ilvl 55 (can't remember) requirement. I give 1 day for hardcores to clear EM primals and 1 week before it is puggable. Granted the pugs will be asking for coil geared people but pugs will happen nonetheless.
HM Dungeons and Moogle will be cleared within an hour. However, those are i55 encounters and shouldn't require much thought at all. I suspect most players going in will clear it right away.
CT is raid finder... so I expect also about an hour to clear it barring server maint and boss bugs.
EM Primals and HM Ultima? Remember these are i65 - i70 encounters, meaning those of us that are around i85 (quite a few nowadays depending on coil drops) will be so overgeared we will probably blow through them. I'll be surprised if it takes my group more than a 3-4 days to very casually clear them. World firsts for those will be within 4-6 hours from release I suspect (barring server maint and bugs).
