How fast will 2.1's content be completed?

Hey, guys. With the way the game is now (a good number of people have 1 job in full i90 or close) how fast do you guys think 2.1's content will be completed? I'm guessing by Saturday strong, dedicated FC's will have beat the EM Primals, CT, and Ultima HM lol. I haven't joined an FC but I haven't found the need to either. Most of this game can be PUG'd so I'm pretty confident it will only take me a little longer than a solid group of people to beat this content. It's a shame this patch is actually going backwards but as a supporter of Square-Enix and Final Fantasy, I will continue to sub.

Also, SE should really put Binding Coils of Bahamut in the DF... the mechanics are actually easier than Titan HM. Just slap an ilvl requirement for the HP check and it can be DF'd.

Content will be completed in approximately 24 hours by all the hardcores that gonna create a thread on how bad the patch is, takin in consideration they had to resub to profit of.

    Do I win ?

gear progression is kind of the purpose of MMOs.
    Like, really ?

I thought beein extremely good with your class and slap people, in term of results, that got twice your gear was the purpose. People lied to me Im so sad

While all that is true, i do believe there is some correlation with gear progression and skill. This is what i meant. You do occasionally run into the player that is geared great but sucks chindong.

By the casuals? They will have more than enough to last them to even 2.3 ( Depending on skill)
By the Hardcores? It all depends if they deem it worthy of even touching. They have the best gear in the game why bother? ( To have fun or get gear for 2.2 Vanity maybe?) If they were to touch all of it though, probably in 2-4 weeks.

This is what I don't get. If casuals complete content at such a slow pace then why do they need 8x the content that hardcore players get? Every patch will have casual content, likely 4+ different types, yet hardcore progression-oriented players get 1 thing every other patch, when they're the ones clearing stuff faster. How does that make any sense?

To answer the OP. I give it a week before good players are bored and are once again forced to play casually. I really don't expect much of a challenge from extreme primals and they're likely to be the only difficult content in 2.1.

If by complete the new content you mean "being able to beat everything added at least once", it shouldn't take more than a day.

Hardcore players are likely to be around 5% of the playerbase (and I'm certain that I'm being very generous with that estimate).

You have an interesting definition of content there.

Housing is content, just not progression content.

Both crowds happy, holy sh!t! Oh wait... nevermind. Casuals are never happy unless hardcores have nothing to do. How could I be so ignorant? =/
Because their revenue wouldn't go up 5%, it'd probably go down due to all the resources they'd have to spend making content for that 5% group.

World firsts for those will be within 4-6 hours from release I suspect
That gotta be the most unrealistic thing I've read today. Titan Extreme gonna take people at least 6 hours, and how about Ifrit EX with the 16 nails, takin in account that Holy gonna be nerfed along with flare beein fixed ?

Coils of Bahamut is a Ilvl 70 requirement. So far not a single guild did an acceptable speed run of it with mostly ilvl 70 gear, and it took more than one week I think to get the first 4 turns down with like close to zero serious difficulty involved compared to what you can find in other mmos. You guys and your high horses, lol

"zomg we got the gear is gunna be such a joke"

2 days for those hardcore FC that don't work and play the entire day.(Unless DF screws them badly over by giving them the worst alliances) I'm also including things like Hildibrand and other quests. Because we all know that they don't read any of the dialogues and just skip as much as possible.

    Not including pvp.
