I havent found a good way to do it in a 8-man party, but when i am in a 4-man party, i always put the tank in slot #2 of party. And i know you can make a <p1> <p2>, etc in your macro, but that is the only way i know how to do it. Make a macro for it to target party member #2 specificly. Don't know if that helps you

I don't use any swiftcast macro any more. I found it to be way too unreliable - manually casting is much better imo.

But for the party chat message just add this after whatever macro you want (or in this case after raise)

    /micon Raise
    /ac Raise <t>
/p Medic coming through! Getting <t> back up immediately!
(or whatever you want to type in chat)

    /micon raise
    /ac swiftcast
    /ac raise
    /wait 1
    /ac raise
    /p <insert dialogue>

I havent ran into an issue yet :/

    1. The number of Lv.50 classes/jobs you have says nothing about your skill.
    2. FATEs are responsible for the majority of Lv.50 "derps".
    3. Don't blame a healer if you died in red zones; that was all on you.
    4. As a healer, healing is your top priority; DPSing comes second.
    5. As a tank, your healer can only keep you alive for so long; avoid red zones, too.
    6. As a DPS, you're partially responsible for hate management, too.
    7. Don't belittle newbs for their lack of skill or knowledge; you were one of them once.

You may want to change that to /wait 2. This will work in most situations, but I've found in crowded or complex areas where lots of things are happening (even boss fights in dungeons), the /wait 1 won't give it enough time to register. Otherwise, this is pretty close to what I use.

I also kind of agree with Kyomi, I still use my swiftcast macros, but sometimes I really regret it in the middle of a hairy fight when I have to wait 2 seconds for the macro to go off reliably.

Any spell I have macroed to include Swiftcast fails to execute properly what seems like 50% of the time. I have tried adjusting the wait times, but nothing seems to work correctly.

Interesting. Well, I'll give it a try. As I said, I've never had any issues yet; but then again, I haven't really done much of the endgame content with lots of things going on, and I'm usually on the move for SC+Rez.

    Thanks

Frankly, you shd try to manually use swiftcast because,

    1. Swiftcast is not being used for rez, sometime you need to swiftcast healing coz spike damage, re-summon pet, etc.
    2. You waste a couple second if swiftcast is on cooldown.
    3. Macro can mess up sometime causes you standstill doing nothing until you realized.

Anyway, there is nothing wrong to use rez macro with /p.

    Adviced from SCH lv.37 ^^"

    How bout this instead?
    Code:
    /micon raise
    /ac swiftcast
    /ac raise
    /wait 1
    /ac raise
    /p <insert dialogue>
    /wait 1
    /ac raise
If the first raise registers, the 2nd raise will just not begin casting. Visa versa, the 1 second will likely go unnoticed or activates as as soon as he realizes the first raise didn't go off.

If you're a keyboard player, definitely consider adding more keybinds in easy to reach places. Manual control really is the way to go. I had a swift-raise macro when I was first starting out but like other said it's imprecise and will sometimes misfire.

Example, I use WASD + mouse rightclick for movement, and have keybinds to 1-5 Q E Z X C G and a side mouse button, all of those also with Alt and Shift. Explore with what's comfortable for you.

If you're a controller player... dunno what to tell you. No offense towards controllers but seems so impractical.
