Patch 1.18: New info coming soon?

This is no rant about how long we have to wait or when we will see some progress blah blah.

I would just like to know if there is any planned schedule for new information/patch release or anything relates coming soon.

We are still missing 2 dungeon updates from the Grand Companies of Eorzea.
Letter from the Producer IX stated 1.18 to be released mid june EARLIEST. So I'm aware of what earliest mean, but how is the progress moving on, is the dev team still convinced it is going to be in June, or might it be delayed to July etc.

Is there any other information coming soon, related to the materia system, the mount system, how leves will be changed(apparently there is a dev post in the JP Forums that states that Leves will be balanced as where Leves will give you SP reward at the END of the leve by finishing it, this is not confirmed, I was just told that there is a post, so don't hate me if there isn't).

Any specific info about how much of the revamped battle system will be impemented in 1.18. Is it just Auto Attack or will there be more changes coming(class balance, skill/ability adjustments etc)

Will Emulate be nerfed?(I hope so...)
Any info on how the instanced dungeons will be set up(one path of trash mobs and 1 boss at the end, or several boss' with trash between them etc)

Any information on new recipes coming(going with the Gathering Q&A they at least plan on implementing new ones soon(probably together with the instanced dungeons, as there will be new materials dropping for endgame items, that's my guess at least))

Etc etc etc. I could go on about dozens of more examples.

I don't care how much of it will be implemented in the 1.18 patch, if it will be a lot, or just a fraction or whatever. All I care about is that we are kept updated on how things are moving on. A simple "the testing of Patch 1.18 is progressing so and so and we will release new info in the next 2 weeks or w/e".

Just give us any kind of information to work with. There are so many things listed on the planned stuff til the end of summer, but how much of it is actually planned to be in 1.18, how much of it is planned to be released til July and August. The dev teams main focus is on the overhaul of the battle system currently, which I totally agree with. It makes no sense to release content if the base of that content is getting changed anyway. So rather implement it once the base is enjoyable rather than implementing it no matter what and people enjoying it less as they could if we just waited a lil longer.

So please, Bayohne or anyone, do you actually have any tidbits of information to share about the 1.18 Patch? It doesn't have to be details, just anything will work that will give us some "hint" as to what to expect or more importantly when to expect it.

Is the Grand Companies of Eorzea site going to be updates soon? Cause that's my personal indicator of the 1.18 Patch atm. As long as not all 3 dungeon infos are released on the Grand Companies site, I don't see the 1.18 patch coming in the next 2 weeks and this month only has 3 weeks left, so it's getting close :/

Honestly, I didn't expect to hear from the dev team until the patch 1.18 was finished. They have a lot of work to do. I think that is the only reason we haven't heard from them. I bet you they are busting their tails right now.

Burning the midnight oil! I'm sure SE understands what is at stake here. Practical people like myself are well aware of the difficulties SE are facing with this game so I'm willing to give them the time necessary to get it right. Other people on the other hand are not as understanding or forgiving. That being said, we are all patrons of this game 1.18 has to have enough substance to keep most of the would be rage quitters satisfied.

To be honest I was surprised to not have heard a little something on Monday, I was hoping for a new letter from the Producer with an update of how things are going.

What happened to the build up the started with the random NPC's popping and shouting about the end of the world, all the rain we are getting that is supposed to help signal bad things are coming. I thought there would be more things like that happening to build it up the coming threat.

Unless the threat is no where near complete and they have decided to cool off on it for a while.

I think it would be nice if we had some sticky thread in a simple Q&A format, where japanese posts would be translated. We seem to miss quite a lot of updates they get, and I don't really think each warrants a new thread. If it was periodically updated with any revelations discovered JP side (and vice versa, if we receive anything they don't) it might actually make the flow of information much more apparent.
Usually 2-3 relatively substantial posts go up JP-side each day, and from the vague impression google translate gives, they often have more than 'please be patient' although obviously, no one can escape that at this point.

On the topic of 1.18, whilst it would be nice to have some info, I'm happy to wait. Game's free, I know they're probably working their asses off to start turning a profit on this beast.
