    Happened to me too. Usually when I get a new ability. And always melding icon appears.

    I'm going to bet it's fixed in 2.1. This is a minor bug that is hard to miss.

    Greetings,

    The development team has confirmed a bug where actions such as Advanced Melding are automatically being assigned to the hotbar or replacing other actions. We’re planning to address this in patch 2.1.

    In Soviet Russia, patch 2.1 addresses you.
