Hotbar actions missing changing randomly

Occasionally my hot bar #2 will switch the first 2 actions with crafting skills, there is no pattern to when this happens but it is always the same two actions (converting,melding). Sometimes it happens when I zone, others times teleporting and even changing jobs, it is entirely random. Anybody else have this issue? Trying to determine if I've got a bad file or the server is getting confused.

Yep me too, that darn melding icon randomly appears and I have to go and search to find what it displaced, bloody annoying.

This happened to me a lot when I was doing class quests or any other quests that rewarded a new skill. For some reason learning something new would make the Advanced Melding action be equip on my two active in combat crossbars.

This has been getting reported since p4 beta and still never been fixed.

I get this a lot when I learn a new skill, Advanced Melding will pop up on Hotbar 2 on L2+up/down.

Good to know I'm not the only one with this issue, in other games if you changed your skill bar and had a crash it or exited the game wrong this would happen. Why I thought maybe a bad file, but I guess SE just wants us to Meld more .

Not to be a smart ass but have you checked your settings to see if that's a shared hotbar? There should be a checkbox for whether it's shared between all jobs or not. Seems weird that it would swap those skills in particular though.

Normal hotbars 1-6 are not shared 7-10 are lined up on the outside of my hud and are shared but this skill isn't on them. I find it weird that it is those 2 skills as well, only 1 of my hotbars has those skills in those spots and it is weaver.

Happens randomly to me too (though could be on new skill gain, but my PLD has been 50 for a while). Always with the melding icons, and always on the same hotbar, in the same two slots.
