Why I quit

Cliff notes: XIV is incomplete. Just a fact, not defending either side.

In XI the grind was worse. I mean 5k/hr was good for a looooong ...

Dude, for real??? What's up with the wall of text which probably put the post maker to sleep half way! LOOOL!

@Post maker: If you don't have friend ingame or can't make any (at all!). It would be a good reason to quit, not because the game is boring... All games (MMORPGs) can be boring playing alone, i know... I'm there too still waiting for a linkshell (new because of old one disbanding for some odd reason).

If you going to quit, you should blame anyone or anything. No one's perfect and no game's perfect but SQ is the only company I guess who would listen to their player base for improvements, then with THE POWER OF THE TWELVE, put their game creating skills to work!

I'm thinking SE is adding improvements to the game now and in the future because of lag & memory issues because of the complexity of the new system. If your not going to play anymore, atleast stay posted to keep up with on-going occurences.

Why did you join the forums just to say you quit several weeks ago?

Is AFK levelling, really more fun than leves? I suggest you play Progress Quest you'll love it.

You say FFXIV has no way of levelling but mention 4 ways doing it, Leves, Behest, Grind or Craft. You could also add gathering into that too.

What is it that you don't like about leves? Personally I like them. I like that it gives a target to focus on rather than just grinding random mobs. Kind of like FoV in FFXI. I'd prefer not to have the 8 leve limit and more variation in leves too.
