    World Server List (EU) Disconnection (lost loot)

    Hello.

    On December 13, 2013, at around 2:12 AM, the World Server List for European servers went offline. Many players got booted, including myself. The maintenance scheduled for today wasn't supposed to happen for another 2 hours (starting at 4 AM EST and lasting until 6 AM EST). The random disconnection from the servers lasted for about 4 minutes, and I was able to log back into the game. Minor disconnections still happened after that.

    During this time, however, I was running with a party of 8. We were fighting the Turn 1 boss for the Binding Coil of Bahamut. Just as we beat the boss, this is when the loot was claimed. The drops were both a Dragoon top and Monk legs. I, being a dragoon, had the option to select Need for the top, which I did. People had died, so they were being revived, not being able to claim any loot yet. This is when the servers disconnected, forcing me to log out of the game and not being able to reconnect, all while I still had not claimed my loot. Half of my party got the same disconnection. When I was finally able to log back in, the timer for the loot already ran out, giving the loot to the party members that did not get disconnected. My top was given to a bard, by the name of Roshidon Fairweather.

    Now, this might seem silly to most, but as many high-end players know, finding a team to trek the Binding Coils of Bahamut can be stressful and uneasy. This is my first time actually finding a team that could beat the boss, and it saddens me that I cannot receive the loot I have been working for because of a faulty server disconnection. So my question is this: Is it somehow possible I can be compensated for my loss? I would like to receive the top that I was going to get. I was the only dragoon in the party. My kill log (if there is one, but I'm sure there has to be one somewhere) can prove the time and the killing of this boss. Also, the time when the servers went offline can be found I'm sure as well.

    I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, so if it is not, please move it to the correct area. I would just like to receive the drop I was going to get, but I didn't because of the European server disconnection. I am from the server Zalera, and my character name is Lord Jiraiya.     It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved. If this does continue to be a concern, please create another thread to further discuss resolutions or contact the Support Center at support.na.square-enix.com for assistance.
