People recognizing your character name

I didn't say I had a problem with you. I was just saying that if you had people that didn't like you and hadn't played with you they had to of had some reasons for feeling that way and it was probably due to your posts on the forums.

What's wrong with blacklisting someone you haven't "met"? If you act like a total tool on the forums (not saying you are or do) why shouldn't people blacklist you if they have the opportunity? If I don't want to see your posts on the forums I damn sure don't want to see anything you have to say in game.

I'm not really saying that there is anything wrong with somebody BLing me for the crap I say here, just that if they do, they're probably not the type of person I want to play with in the first place. I rarely take myself seriously, and don't want to play with folks that do.

Anyway, to get back on topic. People who recognize my name in game fall into one of three categories; they know where I took my name from, they know me from these forums and love my posts (yeah Churchill, some folks have thanked for my tank advice believe it or not), or they know me from these forums and dislike my snide remarks.

I play through DF a lot to meet new people and I get to see people I see on the forums, it's nice to see them

I stalked you for a bit because I have no idea who you are.

I DO block people for stupid crap they say on the forums, and you're not one of them. when I block someone then it's for a very easy reason: if they're a giant a*hat on the forums, chances are they are indeed someone I don't want to 'accidentally' like in-game (I've made the mistake before to befriend people on facebook because they were 'nice-ish' in a game, just to realise they aggrivate me immensely and it made playing with them so awkward that I even ended up ignoring them in-game. I'm just iffy like that)

I have been noticed once or twice...I run a ton of AK/WP late night so there is a ton of us that often run into each other. It is nice when players say, "oh, you are that BARD that rocks!!"
