Is there any good reason to not roll a new toon for each class?

Last time I hit C it was displayed a window called Character. As soon as I hover over 'Community' menu at official website I can see 4 options, Character being one of them. IIRC, as soon as we log into the game, a Character Selection screen is displayed and you can see Characters created and saved through Character Creation feature.

I really couldn't care less what you call it, but I think it's the dumbest argument ever to complain about people calling them a term that's existed for about twenty years now.

Is this a Troll? Is the OP seriously questioning if there is good reason to use the job/class system that makes FF unique and versatile compared to other MMOs? Its put in place so you can experience the full content of every class in the game without the silly nonsense of rolling another character.

Unique and versatile, becoming completely useless with lockouts.

yoshi-p himself said that the cross class system is important.. if you have a different job on 8 different characters you have no cross class

You can't lvl cross class abilities on alts?

God i hate the word toon... Id rather people called them avatars even, but this is a FF mmo, we call em Characters.

If you think I'm complaining... well, I'm not. Even though I dislike your "keep qqing you youngsters". Thank you anyways for linking 'dumbest' to the argument and not to the poster (myself, that's it).
Obviously you'll keep calling them 'toons' and I'll keep calling them 'characters'. And the world will keep going round and round.

It was a joke since most like to act like "toon" is childish. (Though I am probably older than most anyways, especially mmo-wise).
