Unable to complete Mining Leve "Nature is a Monster"

In-game time: no idea, many game days have passed
Area and coordinates: Coerthas Central Highlands (5, 21)
Steps:
1. Accept "Nature is a Monster" leve as miner in Whitebrim
2. Go to designated location
3. Mine every location that shows up on map
4. at 7/8 only an orange region remains, but no mining point is to be found

This bug didn't occur when I was doing the same leves last weekend and on monday or tuesday. Something has happened and the quest is bugged.
