I'm guessing you haven't actually tried to be in an exp pt in this game. Rather, you haven't tried being in an exp pt that's doing things correctly. Implying exp parties don't exist (or work) in this game is a very ignorant statement, and one that clearly lacks first-hand knowledge.Don't like or got bored of Fates? Try finding a large group of monsters and see how high you can get your Exp chain...why did they put those chains in there anyway if you can't really utilize them by leveling up this way!!!!? Possibly just nostalgia from past games. Don't like having to level that way? Then don't. since when did having a choice hurt you. Maybe you like to grind dungeons for exp. You get a chance at those awesome dungeon gears that way also!!! How about some daily quests or even daily hunting logs. I always liked the idea of those logs but they just well.... Ran out
Exp/hr in a party done right is noticeably higher in many level ranges, and merely on-par for others, when compared to FATE grinding. People just don't have the patience for it because the "easier" option is to FATE grind... yet they will always complain about it being too easy because it's the laziest option available. Or perhaps they just fail to learn how to adapt to a different method of exp grind.
So as far as existing options are concerned, and the boost to dungeon exp in 2.1, what's the problem with FATEs actually being 2nd best? This argument about FATEs beating out every other option is silly. Especially when you consider changes coming to the foreseeable future.
It's because this is 1 of god knows how many doom and gloom post's from a person who quit, and comes across as you're opinion is a fact that a large majority of the player base has.People always get so defensive and angry in these posts like im trying to ruin their game experience when in fact im trying to start a constructive conversation to help improve gaming experiences for all. We can only hope SE does read posts and notes things.

Everyone has there own opinion of everything. If you wanted a constructive conversation on how to "Improve the game" then don't start with "this is wrong/bad" and also present all you're points only when you yourself have all the information in hand.
I agree with the need for variety but what you're advocating is for there to be levelling methods that yields exactly the same efficiency as FATEs, this is unrealistic, in every game, theres always an optimised levelling method, one way that allows you to level faster, this is simply human ingenuity... players are never forced to take that path, they simply chose to take that path because they choose to level with the fastest method.I'm sorry but these are not complaints they are suggestions to make the game better and yes 1 idea that is there is implemented in patch 2.1
I however would not hold my breath about the possibility of dungeons being a equal method of leveling up until you've actually played the patch.
FATEs are the easiest method to level only because players chose to band together in mass groups to overpower FATEs and make them easy
I, for one would be levelling my alts via dungeon runs in 2.1 regardless of whether it is on equal efficiency as FATEs
