You forgot:
The Book of Elin
Elin vs Predator
Dude Where's My Elin
Elinception
... and many more.
And I have to agree with you that FFXIV itself causes more frustration than the players.
There are 10 kinds of people: those who understand binary, and those who don't.
Honestly Behemoth is hands down the worst server NA, I've transferred to about 5 diff servers, and Behemoth has the most elitest/ADD/crybaby/quit if it doesnt go ur way server out of all of them, I hate this place and would switch If I didnt like my guildies so much.

One thing I noticed about this community is that it's always cool to bash it. People seem to like that. Oh, and they consider Yoshida and all of his decisions to be perfect.

I've yet to meet a purposefully mean or unfriendly person in Cactuar <_<
Most of the people in my linkshell/FC are willing to drop whatever it is they're doing to help people organize and run anything ^_^
Perhaps you guys need a server change >_>

Let's also make one thing clear.
Forum community /= Ingame community
I'll say that the FFXIV community is good, better than most mmorpg's. But calling it the best one? No, not really. Too much of people easily raging/quitting over minor stuff. Or people not wanting to listen to good advice. And also the mentality of wanting to help people seems to have mostly faded. (Seriously, it doesn't take long to help someone clear a storymode primal fight...)
FFXI had the best community in my eyes. But that was also because the game caused such mentality to exist. iRO had a good ingame community as well.

I agree forum posters are more vocal then the ingame community. What I am talking about is the ingame mostly. But even the forum is much better then WoW or such. Less QQ or ragers here that demand the game to be what they want. Of course they are still here but even they are more civil.
When they add PvP there will be more "Nerf X class" threads but that is common with PvP![]()
The community on shiva is really great. Its really just the forum that seems rotten. Very little elitism from tanks/healers, melees and wars not complaining and bards being mature about the upcoming nerfs.
When you look at the boards on the other hand...
Yeah I don't see toooo many from Goblin post here (shout out to Zlatan!!) but for the most part our server is pretty good. Don't get me wrong, I've had a few run-ins with a certain FC that were treating first timers pretty terribly, and then there's the occasional shouting match in Mor Dhona (which I find funny more than anything), but all in all I have a generally good experience. I like helping people out with stuff too. I just did a DF WP last night with a 2nd time full AF warrior. We wiped once because I tried going super-bard with AOE, knowing full well he probably couldn't hold my hate but tried anyway, and he apologized lol. I told him it was my fault and I wouldn't do it anymore. The run took about 35mins since he was still learning and killing one mob at a time, but it wasn't that bad and he did a good job holding relic hate because we didn't wipe again. The DRG we were with was relic also. He kept apologizing throughout the match about how long it was taking (I assume because he had been yelled at before by impatient people). I told him not to be sorry and reinforced that he was doing a good job. The healer and DRG we were with could have been complete assholes, but at the end of the match we all thanked him for tanking for us and went about our ways. Hopefully gave him a bit more confidence in the future.
The community is fine until you get german guys in a PUG group that tell my 50 year old mother to 'suck my penis' or 'suck my balls' when she asks them to speak english in a dungeon.
