Unable to accept "The Best Inventions"

In my game when I try to talk to Cid nothing happens. He has an icon over him that shows that he has a quest in the main story line to give me but I can't talk to him. The quest also doesn't show up in my recommended quests even though I completed all the prerequisites for it. I have tried relogging and zoneing multiple times but nothing has fixed it.

Having the same issue here, and was having it yesterday. Tried logging, zoning, waiting overnight, etc. Can't accept the quest... lame.

Yep, on Sargantas as well, posted in another thread. I wonder if it's just the server? Who knows.. until then, we shall huddle around Cid until he works!

Sargatanas here as well, having the same issue. Just trying to level ACN and THM in the mean time I guess. Hope it gets resolved soon.

Cid talked to me and gave me the best inventions quest ^^

Seem like the maintenance fixed the problem I was able to get the quest from Cid.

Yes seems last nights Maint. finally fixed Cid and the Storyline quest needed to continue. Onward we go!
