Raiding with other Worlds?

Hi all,

This might be a stupid question, so apologies in advance, but is there any way to maintain friendships/set up DF groups cross-server?

I meet so many nice people in dungeons but they're all on different worlds. It's such a shame that I never get to play with them again.

I think it'd be great if we had a global friends list, if only for the purposes of creating raid groups to throw into the duty finder.

Would be nice, but it would also need to allow cross world party formation if you wanted to enter duty finder with other people. And cross world /tell to coordinate forming the party.

It's a very large scale undertaking and I would imagine this would take lots of work, but I hope one day they consider this. It wasn't easy for me to choose a server as I had friends on several different worlds, and although making characters on other worlds mean I can still pop by and say hello, but I'd love to be able to tackle high level content with friends from other worlds without completing story and gearing up on characters I only log in to occasionally.

Blizzard has this with their battle.net id tags or whatever, SE could do this with your SE and/or PSN account, but it would be a pretty big undertaking, so I'm sure it would be something that would be waaaaaaayyyyyyy down the line since they are still working to get features out that were supposed to be in at launch.

Hope this is somehow implemented in future. I've just been doing low level dungeons on a JP server and the other day met two really nice players who I would've liked to stay in touch with. Shame we're all on different servers though
