400 point faction leve fail

so i did a faction leve Operation: pulling fangs which cost 400 faction points thinking i would get a runestone to my surprise when i open the chest i recived 4 crystals only.... you would think that if you have to use 400 points, SE would at least make the runestones 100% drop rate instead of wasten 400 points for 4 crystals

I agree, doing a 400 point Faction and then opening the chest to get crystals is a real kick in the balls. They should at least give a decent gil reward amount or... I don't know, but anything other than crystals
Three of us used up points recently and did 4 Factions each (two Broken Blade and Buffalo twice) and also helped out someone in the LS do 2 more Buffalo; out of 14 leves we received 5 drops and the rest were crystals. I actually count that as pretty lucky considering the stories I have heard.

I helped a friend and his LS group do 5 of these. Sadly, they went 0/5.

I think my drop rate for 400 faction is 3/9. Other 6 times were of course crystals.

1 out of 3 so far, got a runestone on the first kill, only crystals afterwards. So i'll probably be getting crystals for a while now.

I am 0/9 (or maybe more) and just have no luck. Is there some kind of trick for it ?

Some kind of currency for during these battles should be rewarded so we can buy special items. I understand drops can be tough sometimes especially coming from SquareEnix. 400 points for a chance is steep but hopefully something comes along . Need some goal oriented rewards.
