So as most of you know, the game currently has standardized Limit Breaks split between four limit break roles. These roles are AoE, Single Target, Tank, and Heal.

The primary reason the developers have given for going this route is that they did not want certain classes in the same role to be left behind due to endgame raid groups finding certain LBs more useful than others. This makes sense. It would suck to level Monk and get left out because people liked the Dragoon LB better for their raid strats.

Yet, why can't we have each class at least have its own animations when it comes to their limit breaks? Why can't the Monk do a cool pounch limit break, while the Dragoon does some cool jump/spear stab limit break? Why can't the Summoner summon some huge -egi that casts a big spell that does the same aoe damage as the Black Mage's Meteor? Etc etc, so on and so forth? Statistically they'd be the same, but they'd each have a flavorful appearance according to the class that used them.
