Black Mage

Black Mage needs Thaumaturge30 & Archer15 to have the quest to unlock BLM...
There are Arcanist who uses the dark magic a BLM should have and Conjurer that uses some spells a BLM should have...
I don`t see the relation with Black Mage & Archer! (Besides range...)
While I know there is a close relation between BLM, THM, CNJ & Arcanist.
Is there any plans to correct & make the jobs quests more logical &/or more related to the jobs?
I would play FFXIV right now but I`m holding back because I don`t want to level up classes I dislike in order to unlock the job I want to play; I`m certainly not going to level Archer.
The quests to unlock jobs should not have such requirements or should at least offer multiple options; for BLM , as example, should be THM30 or Arcanist30 in combination with THM15, Arcanist15 or CNJ15. Having more possibilities would only make the game more interesting & our characters more personalised.

You might want to do research into the abilities you gain through leveling an archer before you request it being changed. Any end game Black Mage that wishes to fully utilize the class knows that leveling an archer and arcanist to 34 maximizes a BLM's damage, survivability, and group utility through the cross class abilities gained.

Just because you don't see a correlation between Thaumturge and Archer doesn't make it wrong or a mistake. Besides if leveling a class to 15 is too much for you then you might want to seek a different game to play, because this game is nothing but grind.

Take hardly any effort to get any class to 15. You may find that you like them and want to take them to 50. If something so trivial is keeping you from playing you should just ignore the whole game and do something else with your time.
