I seem to recall the Market NPC in LL referred to them as 'Herders' rather than 'Shepherds', but maybe my memory is going fuzzy in my old age. It was also the NPC that sold gathering goods, indicating that Herders/Shepherds were a gathering class rather than a BST class.
