Dungeon farming is already a positive income endeavor. No need for more gil drops.
Let crafting and gathering be the primary way to make big money.
Let battle content be just positive income content.
“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
― Ernest Hemingway

I like it the way it is. Now it covers my repair bill and gives me some pocket money for teleporting or buying crafter gear once or so.
Dungeons reward gear and/or tomes. It is just fine![]()
just farm FATEs like SE wants you to
My mother made about 100k in a month off WP.
I think the current gil drops are just right.
You make a nice chunk of change by the time you finish grinding out DL set....as long as you don't spend it all in between runs (aside from repairs).

Nah, it's fine like it is now.

The Allagan gil pieces are a decent chunk. I think if you're doing Amdapor Keep, there's about 2800 gil worth of Allagan pieces.
And if you're about to leave a Wanderer's Palace, consider going back for the chest with the Bloody Book Bindings, snagging it and running for your life / exiting Duty Finder and pawn it off on your server market boards.
I don't think the mobs need to drop any additional gil as it not only covers the repair bill, but yields profit.

Most WP speed runs and most AK runs, leave all the money chest untouched so I always do a quick sprint through the dungeon after the boss, everyone ussualy leaves leaving me with 10+ alla pieces. If you kill everything in wp you can make good money too and it doesn't add much time to a speed run of course you could argue you can make more money selling philo items from the offset, however with CT having loot lock outs that gives dl a reason again,
