Best armor setup for Warrior in Stone Vigil?

I've been getting pretty beat up whenever I attempt this dungeon. Last time I tried one of my team mates said I needed better armor but wouldn't tell me what I should have. Any tips? I'm a Level 41 Warroir but I'm gonna level to 42 before I go back in. Thanks!

He probably saw your Cavalry Cuirass and thought it's not enough. It is better than the NQ Mythril Cuirass and only a few points behind the HQ version. I did it in full Cavalry without any problem though the healer might have a hard time healing you when you pull the 3 Dragon Aevis at the end if they are not experienced. Also, you should learn when to pull what mobs into what locations so you don't get a bunch of them together. Usually the rule of thumb is to pull the patrolling Aevis back to where you are but there is one location where it is easier to pull the bird and the two dragonflys back to avoid the wyvern coming down and the aevis coming around. You should be dodging avoidable damage at all time to lesser the strain on your healer. If anything, I would switch out that silver ring for another vit+4 ring. You can buy from market for pretty cheap. The armor, just wait till Darkhold at 44 and farm the Sentinel Cuirass there. It'll last you until the AF armor at 50.

Cutter has a decent body, thats equal to the Aetherial armor there.

Cutters had a decent helm, but thats honestly all ive ever seen drop in cutters, and ive done it a lot. so im not sure if cutters is going to help enough.

just keep doing the 1st 2 bosses, and hope they drop some aetherial plate.

I also did Qarn before cutters, so i had that armor going into cutters. And Calvary into Qarn.

WAR will have a harder time, but make sure ppl sleep adds (cant sleep Aevis) and save cool downs for 3+mobs or 2+ strong mobs.
Use your stun to help lower incoming dmg, and all the basics.

Otherwise, its all about pulls (like the person above said).
When fighting the sprites, run circles around them, and they cant hurt you.

Cutters Cry scale mail > Sunken Temple heavysteel > Brayflox Cavalry > at-level quest gear (what you have now)

Your gear (mostly level 40 whites) is adequate, at-level, exactly what Stone Vigil was tuned for. Note that often times the Heavysteel with proper stats (parry) will out-perform bone scalemail with dps stats.

Obviously you can get better gear, but that's over-gearing for Stone Vigil. Just make good use of your cooldowns (stun included) and avoid all AoE damage (don't use stun to interrupt casts unless you can't avoid it---the time a mob spends casting something that can be avoided completely, is time the mob doesn't spend on attacking you; use stuns when the target is not casting something).

Your gear is fine for SV. Question though: are you positioning the mobs in front of you? If you are getting hit from the sides or from behind you will take significantly more damage. It appears you need to keep the mobs in a conal formation in front of you to optimize your parry and block skills.

Edited to add: looking at your accessories half of them are for dps classes and not helpful for damage mitigation. When choosing jewelry make sure you are getting items that have vitality and parry in them.

As far as I'm aware, you can't parry or dodge from the back but the side is fine. Also, a warrior doesn't have block. /justsaying :P

What I see on Lodestone should be good enough. Can get better, and would go easier if you did of course. Probably more a question of not pulling too much all at once, and getting your teammates to Sleep on some of the bigger pulls.
