    Stop Neglecting Linkshells

    Dear SE.

I've been playing since alpha and along the way I had no intention of leading a linkshell. A couple events happened, and I found myself leading a linkshell. We were at first small and manageable, but as people left the game I had no way to remove them from the shell. This lead me to re-creating the shell over and over again. We've eventually became one of this biggest active linkshells on our server. I now have ran out of space to add people and re-creating the shell at this point will only net me a couple spots at most, because the players I have are here to stay.

I would like to see two things happen.
    1. The ability to remove people from the linkshell that aren't online or near me.
    2. Increase the maximum number of members in a linkshell

I feel right now the only thing keeping this game going for me. Is the fact I have such a large and active linkshell, and the community I've surrounded myself with. However, patch after patch these little things keep getting neglected. Please fix these issues.

    Thank you,

What server are you on? What's the name of your 'shell? I've gone through three linkshells and this third one is as you put it is people that are here to stay. Although lately many of them have not signed on due to waiting for the big patches. I myself am taking a break to playing SE's new MMO Wakfu.

We're the Guardians on Palamecia. Majority of the people in my linkshell have been with me since the launch of the game. We've added new players, but they're enjoying themselves. We've had maybe 5 quit? in the past month that is about it. However, have a feeling they'll return to check out the update.

    I agree with the OP.

Considering the number of threads that are on official forums asking for more admin rights (and considering most players belong in a LS (so it's not like this issue doesn't directly/indirectly affect most players), it surprising that this has been shunted to the back burner.

I understand that big things like changing the battle system and bringing in advanced jobs and the materia system are huge changes and need a lot of time and people, but considering that Square-Enix is pushing the "community" and "group play" angles, having the only official comment as little more than "we know, we're working on it" is not good enough.

The inability of LS communities in-game to regulate themselves is putting people off from running LS's. Either that, or every time you switch LS, you lose players as not all members are always online to make a smooth transition. People shouldn't have chase each other to get back into a LS they are already a member of.

Dev's: Can you please make it clear to whoever is in charge (and show them the multiple threads in existence here already), that this is a feature we have been requesting since launch, and that this should be implemented with 1.18 or the patch after ideally, not discarded for another year before being fixed as an afterthought.
