Post Limit Prevents Self-Expression

The limit of 1,000 characters prevents me from expressing points and opinions in detail as a game design student and player who has become interested in the future of Final Fantasy XIV.

In my experience, limitation hinders progress. Essays with word limits are stifling for one's creativity and cutting paragraphs leads to communication errors that could have been prevented.

A mere workaround, its true, the forums (much like the game) suffer from SEs control issues.

You're on to something with those control issues. The Square Enix I like to remember fondly didn't try to control so much. They simply provided fun.
