I'd probably have the pirmals and beast tribes just randomly attacking cities and outposts

how fun to have a spontaneous titan fight in Limsa with 100s of goblins running a muck at the same time.

I would change this laundry list of things.

1) De-Empasis Fates they should be a side event in this game not the focus of open world
2) Add Open world force NM spawns
3) add open world dungeons
4) make mobs in the open world that could kill a group of 4-5... you know make it where I cannot be a god and solo 10things at my level at once. Also make it where mobs make sence... not now where a level 15rat is as strong as a level 15 morbol... seriously wtf.
5) completely revamp the crafting/gathering system to make a meaningful part of the economy and game
6) add special effects to the gear to remove the ultra linear progression
7) Made side grades instead of only upgrades
8) Make content that takes along time to complete that is not just difficult to appease the hardcores with alot of time. Aka long term goals. not 1-2 week goals.
9) Add allaince based content, CT is still 8 man content.... blatant lie on the devs part here. not allaince content if no one is working together. It would be like calling FATE party based content... lolz
10) revamp the whole armory system to either 1 make classes meaningful in some way or just plain our remove them all together
11) Revamp materia system to where it does more then simply modify base stats
12) Add group based attacks... Limits are NOT GROUP BASED ATTACKS.
13) Put emphasis on guilds for endgame instead of random pug finder
14) Redefine the planed expansion layout to where it is not focused on content negation but expanding on what is already present and making a tremendous amount of relevant content. Instead of only 2-3 raids for ever at endgame.

Mainstream mmo model is garbage it really is.... until devs realize this mmo will keep failing (Or going f2p if you do not consider that a fail).

*Make the 1.0 Lalafell walk/run optional

*Fix Miqo'te butts, give male Lalas nipples and make the Lalafell bust slider actually significant, lol

*Bring back inertia

*Bring back XIV's equivalent to XI's skillchains (Limit Breaks are cool but don't count)
