Gameguard doesn't really stop anything. Only a Script Kiddy with a memory editor would have issues getting around game gaurd. Any seasoned hacker with Dynamic Root Kitting skills would effectively disable the game guard in a day.

Burn the forums and never think of them again?
What we suffer is "the curse of knowledge". For new people, most of the dungeons after level 24 is considered "intense". For us, we just don't understand why newbies do not "get the mechanic" when everything is spelled out for you right in front of your screen... For them Brayflox is HARD ("you want me to Esuna all of you? move out of the way? and cure three people???), Sunken Temple is "ZOMG WTF was that", Cutter's Cry was "intense" and Titan "baby trial" was "fck this, I swear I ran and out of the train track from hell".
Well, atleast add similar to that, yes? Unlike now where even a player who has no experience in hacking can freely bot / hack inside the game with these free 3PP roaming around the Internet.

I would make the game open source; Client and Server. Then everyone would be free to tailor it to their own tastes.

Stop developing fluff quests and put emphasis on actual storytelling.
Seems to me that a lot of you would get in the door and waste development time. I'm glad something like this would never happen.
Some people also seem to think they can get a crap load of work done in a single day. These people likely have no respect or understanding for software development and its intricacies.

I would create plans for at least one open world dungeon in each area.
And non-fate NM's too.

I'd redo the entire game to remove instancing from one zone to the next.

Could have thrown in some of your own ideas instead of just crapping on other peoples.Seems to me that a lot of you would get in the door and waste development time. I'm glad something like this would never happen.

I'd give player characters back their butts.
