Back on topic though. I like the idea that you're trying to capture the interest of both non-hardcore and hardcore players, but even casuals will hit level 50 to hit the higher tiered classes anyway. Plus, I think all of the jobs need to be unlocked at the same level. Keeps people from thinking some jobs are more important than others. It would be cool to have more than a 1class:1job ratio, but they need to go about it the right way.
One of the things really getting in the way right now is that multiple types of weapons are being combined into one class I.e. Gladiator gets both swords and daggers, however the eventual Thief should NOT be a job for gladiator. It's a light armor wearing class. It NEEDS light armor to be quick and swift like Thieves need to be.
I'll give the same example I did in your last thread.
GLA at level 30 should unlock Holy Knight, which uses Light Sword based attacks to keep hate and tanks, which at 50 you can upgrade it to Paladin which is a stronger version.
GLA can ALSO unlock Dark Knight, which is more about Dark Energy Sword based attacks to deal heavy damage, and at level 50 you can upgrade it to Doomknight, which is also a stronger version. This way you can release multiple tiers, while also introducing multiple classes without prioritizing any classes by releasing them earlier than any others.
