    This isn't supposed to be hidden or anything. In beta we went there to test PVP. They just never removed the NPC to take you there.

    Its been there since Phase 3 / Early Access.

    I have used it often for just the retainer bell and sanctuary and moogle (great for crafting and mailing items or selling them!)
