I can't imagine them making a trailer just for a update. Especially at this point when they are not even charging a subscription. In the future when the game is actually in full servicable swing? Maybe.

i wonder how the devs feel when they see trailers like this. I mean FFXIV has almost nothing that feels epic in it except for the last mission's cutscene. And it doesn't even offer close to what Rift does.

I'm sure they are putting tons of work into this game, and in 9 months they have essentially done nothing.
UI is still laggy (its better but pretty fail compared to other games)
Sidequests seem to be an epic fail
Guild tasks seem completely pointless
Wards still don't work -that- well. They are fairly slow and laggy.
There are still tons of glitches
etc...

And then you see Rift releasing new content that looks like an expansion...
I would feel horrible.

You people seem to fail to understand what redoing the entire game system means. Rewriting the backend algorithms does not happen over night. It needs planning, outlying, and organizing before one line of code is written. Rift has all the done, it's just adding content. Once all the major reworks of this game are done you will start to see this level on content coming out, and that pace if not faster.

SE is not stupid, sure they made some horrible decisions such as releasing this game 1-2 years too soon, but this game will get better. Patience
