This is truly great news... and thanks for all the awesome work.

I've always loved his work since he did vagrant Story but I really started calling him the "Legendary Akihiko Yoshida" after I played FFXII back in 2006. Eagerly looking forward to more of his work for FFXIV in the future.

The irony: He's been in involved in most of SE's best selling games (and extremely popular ones.) and AH was involved with some of the more controversial ones (given design departures from earlier series entries.)
