Lightning strikes twice event

Does anyone know if there is any confirmation that they will have this event again when the lightning returns game comes out in north america? I just missed this event and was hoping I still have a 2nd shot to get the event items.

I think it's in Feb. I don't remember the exact date. But yes, you'll have your chance to hopefully get to 45 and get all the lightning missions.

This event is scheduled to make a return in February 2014 for the North American and European release of Lightning Returns: FINAL FANTASY XIII.

Will we be able to repeat the quest line when it comes again? (and therefore get both Lightning's/Snow's garments by using Fantasia)

wonderful! now for this event do you just have to do the quests to get all the weapons/items? Or is there special fates you have to find and do to get certain items?

They haven't said specifically either way. Any answer would be guesswork based on how they've handled events in XI (or 1.0 for those who were around for it).

To get the armor, you need to do the quests, which involve doing the FATEs once each. To get all the weapons, you need to do the FATEs from the first quest several times, until you have enough Otherworldly Parcels to buy them all. Silver on the FATE gets you 1 parcel, gold gets you 2, each weapon costs 1.
