Even with the soon myth cap raised, you only get a piece of af in 2 weeks. In these 2 weeks, you'll already have 2 CT pieces. Go figure.
why would u want ilvl 80 gear vs 90? and also me mismatched ( looks wise) when your trying to progress thru coil? its been done with mismatched ilvl70-ivl90?
not understanding me
if you can get ilvl90 gear in or about the same amount of game time maybe just a little bit longer ( maybe one week) why would you spend time on something that does not benefit you as much as running wp and doing your coils,

People will do it for their own reasons, just because it's useless to you doesn't mean it's useless to anyone else. Stop being so narrowed minded.why would u want ilvl 80 gear vs 90? and also me mismatched ( looks wise) when your trying to progress thru coil? its been done with mismatched ilvl70-ivl90?

A piece of AF in 2 weeks? Not really.
375 x 5
495 x 3
825 x 2
900 x 1
It takes roughly 14 weeks to get 11 (12 for PLD) slots filled with ilvl90 Mythos items... or 12 weeks to fill 10 slots (if you don't get relic+1 and go for the Extreme Primal weapon). Only the body and legs take 2 weeks to get. You can get an accessorie each week and get a 495 piece (head/hands/feet) the week after (870 for both pieces on the 900 you're making).

Personally, I don't mind lockouts on the highest gears (ilvl.90 and up) but having nothing worth to raid in PvE, that's the problem. You will get more ilvl.90 gears per week than you'll get ilvl.80s because there are more ways to obtain the highest available pieces than there are for the "sub-high" ones.... which doesn't really make sense.

This. compound that with the fact that loot will still be based around the RNG and probably still the same % chance of dropping as coil. If you have no luck getting loot in coil how long a week are you going to farm for a specific piece of gear in CT... or how long will you static run it with you to help ur chances... then how pissed will you be if u DF it and a random gets the drop you have been farming for all week. So, farming CT every night all night for one piece of gear how does that make you less hardcore then the guys logging in monday clearing 1-5 then logging out for the week.....

How is logging in once a week for a few hours hardcore? That sounds entirely casual. I can't see myself paying a subscription fee for a game I log into only once a week, which leaves me wondering if it's even worth continuing my goal to level everything to 50. I mean, if they at least gave us decent pvp instead of lolarena I might feel justified continuing to pay the monthly fee. Here's hoping that housing is at least somewhat engaging.
