What I did to send stuff to my alt, was get a friend to invite her to our free company, I put stuff in the company chest on my main, I have my alt logged out at the chest, and get stuff to her and her 2 retainers to sell/store that way. Works great!![]()

I don't understand how people are running out of space.
I have all the primal weapons (excluding a couple titans) 3 sets of darklight, crafting gear, and a lot of novelty trinkets from 1.0 and don't have any problems with space.
I haven't even started using the second retainer for storage yet.
What are players storing in their retainers that cause them to run out of space?
Adventure, that's the life for me!
I bet Bob came up with the "You can't use /tell in dungeons, because it's rude!"some people however, list common garbage items on the market board from their alt for a high price, and buy the high priced item with their main to add some finances to said alt. But muling as a rule doesn't work due to SE's confounding logic. Probably an idea from the same guy who decided to loot lock characters rather than classes. In fact I'm sure they have one guy there whose sole job is to come up with terrible ideas. His name is probably Bob.

No, we will not. And I question how you could possibly be running out of inventory. Do you keep every bone chip and other piece of junk that has no use or can be bought form an NPC or the market when you need it?
Seriously guys, we have tons of space. Stop hoarding junk you don't need.
Also, muling is possible with the Company Chest.
Of course it is not a problem if you do not level all DoL and DoH classes.
And hoarding junk - there were many times, when I needed that ****ing one piece of yew log for acn book (for example), and I have only lumbers, and was in other city, and everybody sells them in stacks of 99.
P.S. situation became better, when I deleted 5 pages of fish from second retainer and moved there items for cooking exclusively (100+ cells).
P.P.S. And after that I realized, that I need 2 types of fish for shark oil, that I have deleted.

All it takes is all your characters being in the same FC and use the FC vault to transfer stuff. How hard is that?
Or, like me, use your spouse that also plays to transfer gear ;P
Nothing extremely complicated.
Crafting materials.
I have 5 pages of just one on my retainers taken up by ingredients for my cooking alone. Another couple pages for alchemy ingredients and a page for fish (for cooking and alchemy) Then I have a couple pages for "cloth" and weaving components and a couple pages for my leatherworker 1 page to hold misc items like materia, 3 pages to hold equipment I want to keep, 2 pages for mining, 2 pages for "bone" goods for crafting, etc. etc. etc.
I utilize 6 retainers (3 characters) to comfortably store what I want to store because I farm/gather everything myself (minus a couple store bought ingredients) and I keep/maintain an inventory of those items so whenever I want to craft, I just hop to my retainer and grab what I need and be on my way. I keep both NQ and HQ items of each ingredient because I feel like it ;P
Call me a packrat if you will... but yes, I am ;P
