Coil Lockout - Abuse

Not coil but same thing happened to me the other day. Just leveling my PLD to get the final Lightning fate and was invited by someone which i thought it was for a fate group.
Next thing you know i was in a dungeon, my hotbar was not setup properly and wiped twice, after they all left me and none even said a word.
Never again

Did you miss the pop-up that says the dungeon you're going into? -.- Maybe they misread and thought you were looking for party for that dungeon....

The fact you can't do previous turns after simply zoning into a later turn is ridiculous anyway.

I agree with this. You should be locked out of a turn only after you complete it. Go help out a group do T4? Cool. But you should still be able to complete T1 and T2 later.

Here is a small thing that definatelly needs to be fixed.
I've seen the following scenario from a troll.

He asks members for T1 coil ... when he makes the team he ports us in and we discover we are in coil t4 !!!

Too late now - we are all stuck in t4 and missed the first kills.

Can this somehow be avoided - especially in pugs that you dont always know with who you play ?

The pop up came up but all classes were filled within seconds. The guy never asked me to do a dungeon and i never asked.
All i was basically doing at the time was level grinding as i wanted to reach 45.
Should have said something in the dungeon
but i just said hi and this is my first run here. There was like no communication. I realize this is different then the op but sort of similar attitude of some people

Actually, it's not a stupid suggestion. It will keep it from happening. It's definitely not a solution for the issue at hand though.

We've confirmed with the Duty Finder lead that the team is aware of these instances of abuse such as was mentioned in this thread. The team, and Producer Naoki Yoshida will carefully look into this.
