Thread: Duty Finder needs to be adjusted NOT to happen while loading

This has been happening to me quite a bit, and it's pretty annoying.

After spending over an hour in the Duty Finder I will be in the middle of loading into a new area (which can take quite a while sometimes) and my Duty Finder will pop up while the screen is loading. By the time the load is complete, I will run out of time to accept the invite.

It's frustrating. Especially after spending so long in the duty finder waiting for an invite only to miss it when it finally does happen because you were stuck in a load screen.

So I would appreciate it if you made it to where the duty finder did not pop up while waiting to enter a new area. Or at least increase the time limit to where it will give you enough time to wait out the loading process so you don't miss it.

Yeah it's like a surefire way for me to make it pop. Just zone and it'll pop during the loading screen. Other ways to make it pop includes microwaving food for 3 minutes or using the bathroom.

I saw this thread and thought the same thing. Even on the PS3 it shouldn't take that long.

I'm on a PC, not a PS3. And I can tell you from personal experience it takes that long to load into new areas on this game. Especially if they are crowded. It probably depends on your internet speed.

If you're on a PC and it's taking that long, there is something seriously wrong with either your PC or your connection. The only time it ever takes more than 5-10 seconds for me to move to a new area is when Odin or Behemoth popped in the area I'm moving to, and that's because half the server is doing the same thing.

Nope. There is nothing "seriously" wrong with either. This game just loads extremely slow sometimes when the areas are crowded. It depends on your internet speed. My PC and connection are fine.

You probably don't notice because your internet speed is faster than mine.

Not really, I have rather slow DSL and I load within seconds.
