How do you deal with a rude player in DF?

Hey all! A first time forum poster here. I apologize if a topic like this was already created, I couldn't find any immediate results.

Like the title says, how do you deal with a rude player in Duty Finder?

Since we don't have a Kick system yet, players have to just deal with the rude person. It's even worse if the rude player in question is a tank or healer. The Tank can just stand there and not do anything, or the healer won't heal you if you try to back talk them. It would be even worse at low levels, since the queues are so long now. I'm generally a nice guy but sometimes trying to be nice to a mean person just doesn't get anything done.

I'm making this discussion because I was playing on my Bard on a JP server ( I have characters on both sides because I love the JP community), I queued for AK and this healer person was the meanest, rudest person I've ever met. He would swear and shout out anime lines and talk badly to the party. The JP players didn't understand English luckily (and I apologize on behalf of the English speaking community if you ever ran into these characters) but I did. I really wanted to tell him off but I didn't want him to not heal me and cause me to die. I really hope the vote kick system will solve these issues, but for now, what can I do? Just take the insults?

Unless it was your healer that was being rude, you're punishing the wrong people/person.

You have two options: deal with it, or leave the group. If the players aren't on your server you won't ever have to deal with them again anyway.

Starting with patch 2.1 if everyone else agrees one person is being a jerk, you can vote kick them.

As a PLD, anything I want! Usually though, I let them have aggro and die and ultimately leave the PT. If they don't oh well I can leave and get another group shortly there after.

If the tank is being a douche I don't heal him. Doubly so if there's a bard during a WP run. I just heal the bard up while he kites everything,making the WP run work just fine~

Unfortunately there are some rude jerks in the DF. :-\ Right now there isn't much we can do about them except report them for harassment (if they behave in a harassing manner). But in 2.1, we'll be able to Vote to Kick them, if I'm not mistaken.
