What's this Starlight event some of you have mentioned?

The 'Starlight Celebration' is the equivalent Eorzean holiday to Christmas. The name was first used for a similar event in FFXI, like a number of other seasonal events, and has pretty much the same function. Last few Holiday Seasons, all I've been doing for gaming events was chasing around an alien trying to steal Christmas for himself. Kinda funny, but I am excited to see how Eorzea does the holidays!

This sounds really lame. Costumes should have some value added. In FFXI i remember the Santa Hat would dispense ginger cookies.

A peep hole for you head gear is just lame.

We don't know if it will give any effects though, just what it looks like.

Well I think that snowman gear looks just fine! I mean, it totally clashes with my fiery demeanor, but I think it looks good for what it is!

I just want the large Christmas trees in the towns again so I can hide in them and snipe people with /snowball! I hope the emote comes back with the rest of the event.
