PS3 cant launch the game

hey there,

there was a problem with the ps3 network today effecting some users in Europe. Sony fixed this issue and I can log in on PSN just fine. However when trying to launch this game I get an error I never seen before.

"Cannot launch FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. Please register the promotion code included with your package or download. A re-install will not be necessary."

"A system error has occurred: -2147309046"

game was working fine this morning.

Yes there is a maintenance right now, but the OP stated he is able to log into PSN just fine. I can't log into PSN right now and when I try ffxiv it just says I mist be connected to the PSN and prompts me to login (which I cant, obviously). The OP is either wrong about being able to log into PSN, or he's having a completely different issue.

I have the exact same issue as OP.

I had to log into the PSN manually earlier (about 5pm GMT) due to the maintenance but the game worked fine afterwards.

Just logged out, and now I can't get back in. It won't even load the launcher.

no the OP is correct the psn issue was resolved allowing players to log into their psn the problem the OP is having is the same I am once on psn you cannot launch the client for FFXIV it tells you that you need to register a code and give this system error code -2147309046

I to cannot access the game and am wondering what the issue is here?

yea I have no idea what the problem is but I wish we could get some sort of info from them about why this is happening! I was just playing then decided to log out to help out my wife then come back to this BS -_-

Same here as op, i can log on psn, but game wont launch.

this fixed now it was because of maint. they partially put PSN back up so you could log on and see your friendlist but no online game would launch. This is fixed by now though.

Im Having This Same Problem And I Just Re-Newed My Subscription I Got A Inquiry Number In My Email And Tried To Use That Number But It Says Its Invalid If You Have Any Answers Please Help !!? Thank You Merry Christmas
