I've read on the forums that the extreme mode primal iLvL 90 weapon and accessories are locked weekly. I've also read that the quest chain for the iLvL 90 weapon is locked weekly but the extreme mode primal accessories that drop from chests can be farmed. Can someone clarify if the extreme mode accessories have a weekly lock or not?

I can actually understand his logic in this. From my knowledge the weapon you receive is on par with Relic+1; i90. If that's the case, doing a lock out prevents people from selling EXTREME runs. They already admitted WAY too many people (that doesn't deserve it) have relic. It became way too common for their tastes. People selling runs is a large reason for this. It's just a step to prevent what they didn't like to happen again (and to stretch out content).

Edit: Err, I jumped the gun on that and misread. I thought he was saying we could only fight them once per week. The lookout on weapons was already known. As long as we don't have to form statics for them, I'm fine with it.

"The three extreme primals quest can be completed once a week." It says the quest can only be completed once a week and the loot is obviously locked. The fights themselves are likely repeatable.

I completely understand the lockout on the weapon. In 2.1, with the myth increase to 450 per week, you can get 1 iLvL 90 relic+1 every 2 weeks. Whereas, with the extreme mode primals, you can get 1 iLvL 90 weapon each week. It would be too much freedom to essentially let you get the highest tier weapon as fast as you can. Yes, coil weapons will be iLvL 95 but iLvL 90 weapons are still more or less top tier in my opinion.

Thanks for confirming the loot is locked weekly. I am disappointed in the overall content lock because it seems I can't gear a main and secondary in iLvL 80/90 gear in 2 weeks once 2.1 comes so if I need/want to use an alt, the alt won't be viable for coil turn 4/5 until about 5 weeks.
