Final Fantasy fan as well as violinist here. When I'm not in-game I've been thinking about the wonderful music of this game and have arranged the music for the city of Ul'dah for solo violin. Check it out here:

Oboe is a wonderful instrument. If I had the time to pick up another kind of instrument it would be oboe. I love the tone. And I'm glad you like the music! I actually started this project toward the end of Beta phase 3 but hit some slowdowns nailing down the exact layout of the music and some details recording. My next one should be up much quicker now that I know the process better.

Yeah, problem is there is so much great music to choose from. I'm definately going to make Limsa and Gridania a priority... But was actually thinking about the Garuda boss fight too. It's got an interesting fusion of Bach-style Toccata and rock elements with other themes. If anyone else has an opinion of what they would like to hear next I would love to hear it
