Many of the older games were very good and I think newer games are good in a different way. The playability and encapturing feeling of the older games are what made them big and why there is a fanbase for them still. The newer games are graphically beautiful and innovative. I think if we can add the enticement of the older games to the beauty of the current game then we will have a great game.

Legend of Dragoon was an awesome game and when you did the minigame to perfection you felt amazing. I understand the implementation of a minigame would be a debate in itself, but I like the ideas that are coming about. I want the Limit Breaks to be outstanding and to create that feeling of awe. It's the type of moment when people around you are amazed and the chat is going crazy with comments.

I think we have the bar building ideas pretty solid. Any Ideas on Class Specific Limit Breaks?

Gladiator
-Unyielding: The player enters a state in which he absorbs all attacks from the foe without taking damage. Following the end of this stage the player deals all physical damage that would have been received.

Marauder
-Bloodthirsty: The player has increased attack power and the party heals an amount proportional to the damage dealt.

Lancer
-Dynamic Strikes: The player has a faster attack speed and each attack has a stun effect added to it.

***These are examples of modes that could be entered with this system. If we are opposed to modes then I will try to give examples as to abilities that can be used while the bar is full.***


Gladiator
- Stunning Denial: The gladiator performs a shield bash that applies a long-winded stun that leaves the foe unable to perform actions for the duration.
Marauder
-Rekindling Strikes: The marauder performs a brutal combination of slashing attacks which heal party members.

Lancer
-Meticulous Assault: The Lancer performs several swift thrusts that decrease the defense of the foe and deal a large amount of damage.

These are just examples of ideas. I would love to here more ideas from other people. I'm not trying to sell these ideas as they are. I feel very adamant towards the idea of Limit Breaks and Overdrives. If you don't like the ideas that I have in terms of skills please suggest ideas.
