TP moves are not the same as Overdrive and Limit Breaks. Do you know what those two systems are Rentahamster?

TP moves are like abilities with a cost. I think what the OP is looking for is an alternate system that's more of a reward for meeting requirements like limit breaks in FFVII and FFIX (9 not 11) and a few others where you get a single special move that really changes the pace of the battle and makes your class shine like 2 hours in FFXI does, but in a different way. Not like weapon skills in FFXI, where you can use energy for a single insignificant special attack, then repeat.
Kor Poni of Mysidia server.
That is precisely what I'm saying Kor. Thank you for clarifying that.TP moves are like abilities with a cost. Let's keep the suggestions lighthearted and productive. I would prefer no derailing arguments please. Thank you.
I like this idea alot. Especially if they incorporated it into the new battle regimen system when that gets developed since they would be doing it from the ground up. How cool would that be? Limitbreak skillchains....aww yea.
Yeah it would be awesome to have limit break skillchains. Hopefully we can get a community rep to bring the Limit Break/Overdrive Mode idea up to the developers. There seems to be a lot of positive feedback as well as excitement.
I think it would be a wonderful idea. It would add an extra dimension to the battle tactics. I used to love being in a difficult battle that wasnt going my way only to be saved by a limit break. Would definitely make party play more exciting. Gives you more of those, "Did you see that!" moments

Seikninkuru-
KorPoni pretty much took the words out of my mouth for this post. There are also a number of different posts in this thread that address your comment.

TP - a suplementary battle system that involves dealing and taking damage in order to build up a resource meter that is separate from MP in order to execute highly damaging attacks as well as special moves and skills.
Overdrive/Limit Breaks - a supplementary battle system that involves dealing and taking damage in order to build up a resource meter that is separate from MP in order to execute highly damaging attacks as well as special moves and skills .
Do you know what those two systems are?
Yes I do. Good job looking that up on the internetTP - a suplementary battle system that involves dealing and taking damage in order to build up a resource meter that is separate from MP in order to execute highly damaging attacks as well as special moves and skills.

I like the idea. Special attacks are always needed.
I know we are sitting here arguing moot points that SE's Dev team is capable of working out.
I am pretty sure they know math and the development debugging process![]()

I didn't look that up on the internet. I already know what they are, and I already knew that they both performed the same function, at a basic level.
Having my competence called into question just because you don't realize that yourself is not a good debate technique.
