    - Morpher could be able to "Learn" the form of a mob
    - Morpher could have a listing of mob forms it has "Learn"ed
    - Morpher could be able to "Morph" into a previously "Learn"ed form
    - Morpher could be able to choose to "Morph" into either Full or Half form (Beast or Humanoid/Beast)
    - Full Form Morphing would endow the Morpher with all the characteristics of the mob it "Morph"s into
    - Half Form Morphing would endow the Morpher with half of the Job skills and half of the characteristics of the mob

    Let's recap:
    - Morpher would be a Advanced form of Beastmaster.
    - The ability to Morph would be only available to the Job Morpher.
    - Morphing would be the Morphers prime means of fighting within a party OR solo

    If you can think of better terms then I use here than please let me know.

    This is a game mechanic that many MMOs are catching onto. I believe SE could increase the value of their total gameplay with this feature. It promotes more gameplay as well.

    Ascendance (I like this name better personally)

    Once a player completes a series of grueling quests: that player will be given the choice of a entity he or she would like to transform into (This could be anything the devs or players agree on. Maybe even the Elemental Gods . Mechanical and phantom should be an option too (Suggestion)?

    Here are the mechanics:

    There will be a link between the player and it's transformed self. I will refer to this link as attunement.

    There will be various stages of attunement: this dictates the stats and lvl of player while in the transformed state.

    Attunement will increase while the transformation is active and player engaged in combat. Every minute the attunement will increase.

    There will be a rage meter.
    The rage meter will Fill based on it's Mode.

    There will be several Modes:
    -Defender: rage meter fills when you take damage.
    -Reaver: rage meter fills when you give damage.
    -Lunatic(available only to highly attuned forms): liken to defender yet applies to damage any party member takes.
    -Angst(available only to highly attuned forms): liken to Reaver yet applies to damages any party member gives.

    The rage meter will begin to deplete once the player has transformed.

    Transformed players will be able to run, fight, and use offense and defense abilities that are unique to the form they chose.

    There will be two modes of stance: standing(biPed) and all fours(quadPed). The player will be able to switch between these at will.

    As the players attunement increases: various aspects of the form will change.
    The form will become bigger and bulky if the players actions during attunement are more defensive.

    The form will become more muscled and remain slender if the players actions during attunement are more offensive.

    Balancing these two properly would allow both but not a dominance in defense or attack.

    Strange you say no, because everyone else I talked to about this thought it promoted alternative content in the game very well + added a unique spin to FF series.

    I understand it isn't FFXI worthy.

    However, I did my 7 years in FFXI just like anyone else and I see no big deal with accepting something new. Unless everyone just wants the same old boring experience over and over again.

    Cool. I think a lot of people are misunderstanding my idea here. I'm not suggesting we morph into mobs that we commonly fight. I am talking about mainly the SYSTEM and it would be up to the DEVS and players input on what the transformations were.

    I personally like the idea of a humanoid form fused with Elemental Gods

    I didn't necessarily make those changes for you, but more for everyone after realizing changes that needed to be made.

    Anyway. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I am looking forward to what others have to say

    This game NEEDS more mechanics and interesting implementations that involve the user.

    this is a good Idea we need new ideas coming in like this not the same old stuff over and over this a next gen game so any new suggestions need to be considered.

    And I firmly believe that as well, I just don't think this is the type of system that would be able to do so. I'd love to see how you think this could actually tie into the game, because as of now it seems like just a random idea thrown out there with no reason to be implemented. Show a real need and benefit for implenting a system of this nature and I'm sure myself and others would be happy to jump aboard.

    Edit: For exmaple, the only way I can see this being introduced, would be to involve a previous game mechanic like the guardians we selected when creating our characters, for no apparent reason.

    Edit 2: But, implenting a system like this because "other MMOs are using it", or because "we need more player involvement" are bad ideas.
